Baby Chicks!

It was a cold blustery day but it was Monday. Each Monday in March and April Murdoch's Ranch store get their shipment of baby chicks! The baby chicks purchased today should start laying in August. I got 15 chicks to add to my flock of 10 very old hens. Here are my new birds:
3 Barred Rock
3 Ancona
3 White Leghorn
3 Silver Laced Wyandotte
3 Light Brahma

1st Robin Today!

There is still plenty of snow on the ground but out of the kitchen window we saw a robin! Earliest sighting up here since 2004.

We Re-chinked!

It took several weekends and many hours but we finished the project of chinking the interior of the logs. It looks great!!

2013 Governor Steve Bullock's Inaugural Ball

A great night at the inaugural ball! Started at Leisa & Charlie Poole's house for a pre-party and then proceeded to the Lewis & Clark County Fairgrounds and danced all night! So fun!!

10 Days In New York January 2013

In January we spent some time in New York to attend the Under The Radar and APAP. We saw some great new theatre and some not so great. We spent time with the Taleff's and got to see some of the great nieces including Abigail Delbenzio and we went to Alice Roberts' 4th birthday party!

New Years Celebration

We were so lucky to get to spend two nights at Fairmont Hot Springs with Bill & Peggy Roberts and all of their family. Grandma Irene joined us for a great celebration!

Christmas 2012

A quiet day on Grizzly Gulch. First time in 32 years that we did not have one or both of the kids home. We went to 9:00 mass with Grandma Irene then went out to breakfast. We ended the day with an excellent dinner at the Ruzevich's.
