Baby Chicks!

It was a cold blustery day but it was Monday. Each Monday in March and April Murdoch's Ranch store get their shipment of baby chicks! The baby chicks purchased today should start laying in August. I got 15 chicks to add to my flock of 10 very old hens. Here are my new birds:
3 Barred Rock
3 Ancona
3 White Leghorn
3 Silver Laced Wyandotte
3 Light Brahma

1st Robin Today!

There is still plenty of snow on the ground but out of the kitchen window we saw a robin! Earliest sighting up here since 2004.

We Re-chinked!

It took several weekends and many hours but we finished the project of chinking the interior of the logs. It looks great!!

2013 Governor Steve Bullock's Inaugural Ball

A great night at the inaugural ball! Started at Leisa & Charlie Poole's house for a pre-party and then proceeded to the Lewis & Clark County Fairgrounds and danced all night! So fun!!

10 Days In New York January 2013

In January we spent some time in New York to attend the Under The Radar and APAP. We saw some great new theatre and some not so great. We spent time with the Taleff's and got to see some of the great nieces including Abigail Delbenzio and we went to Alice Roberts' 4th birthday party!

New Years Celebration

We were so lucky to get to spend two nights at Fairmont Hot Springs with Bill & Peggy Roberts and all of their family. Grandma Irene joined us for a great celebration!

Christmas 2012

A quiet day on Grizzly Gulch. First time in 32 years that we did not have one or both of the kids home. We went to 9:00 mass with Grandma Irene then went out to breakfast. We ended the day with an excellent dinner at the Ruzevich's.

The Taleff's Spend a Day in Helena

Thanksgiving weekend Chris, Sara and Bannack drove to Helena from Great Falls to spend a day. It wouldn't be complete without a visit to the Blackfoot. Bannack got to see some of his friends including Lily Fairbrother and Kyden Steinbarth. They met Ed's new puppy Raef. They ended their visit with a Sunday brunch on Grizzly Gulch which included a bon fire!

Thanksgiving 2012 with the Taleff Family

We had a great Thanksgiving dinner in Great Falls with the Taleffs. Both Great Grandma Irene Roberts and Great Grandma Fern Blewett.

A Day in Paris

On the trip back to the US we spent 2 nights in Paris. We will definitely return when we have more time to spend. We did get to visit Notre Dame and we went to the top of the Eiffel Tower. It was a beautiful day in Paris. Can't wait to go back!

A quick stop in NYC

It was great to spend a few days in Brooklyn before heading back to Montana!

Florence Italy

Such a relaxing visit to Florence. Great to see the city where Kevin spends his time! Kevin prepared a delicious brunch for his friends returning back to school. We took several day trips to the surrounding area. We ate so many great meals and of course drank lots of delicious red wine!
